Abstract :
This paper introduced a improved gabor function based on fingerprint image enhanced algorithm in wavelet domain. The algorithm optimized standard deviation and filter window size, and changed the fixed size and fixed standard deviation of Gabor filter into a function of the fingerprint ridge frequency F (i, j). As the result, the designed filters can make full use of the data of image itself to enhancement processing of the fingerprint image. Simulation results on some typical images showed that the proposed algorithm can enhance fingerprint image effectively and correctly.
