Abstract :
Techniques of cutaneous electrogastrogram (EGG) recording, detection method of gastric slow wave and EGG study of patients with gastric motor disorders are presented. We extracted EGG data with higher signal-to-noise ratio by using the techniques of signal averaging and a selecting suitable position for the reference electrode. Our experiments show that the patients with gastric motor disorders always have abnormal EGG before or after meals. We found that some patients have bradygastria and tachygastria. One patient´s EGG waveform even become a line after the meal
