Abstract :
A compact Wilkinson power divider with low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) was presented in this paper. This power divider was proposed by a simple structure and achieved a good performance. The step impedance resonator (SIR) was used to modify the isolation and input port return loss. When the power divider with single section, the passband from 1.6GHz to 2.1GHz. The insertion loss is less than 0.2dB, the return loss less than -20dB and the isolation between two output ports is less than -20dB. For wider pass band, the modified power divider was proposed. One isolation resister was introduced without changing the structure. Between 1.3GHz to 3.5GHz, the isolation of two output ports is better than 15.5dB; from 1.7GHz to 3.5GHz the isolation is better than 20dB. And the return loss of input port is less than -20dB; the insertion loss is less than 0.5dB. The size of the divider is 4.5mm × 3.2mm × 1.15mm.
