Abstract
There exist document reports on the interaction of electromagnetic waves (EMW) with a variety of biological systems. A specific area of concern in this region is the identification of window effects of EMW on biology. The window effects are defined as a biological response that occurs only under specific, dispersive and narrow frequency/intensity regions of EMW; outside these regions the biological response is moderated or eliminated. Our research is focused on finding the effects of extremely low frequency EMW on the efflux of calcium ions from brain tissue
