Abstract
Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square-wave voltammetry (SWV) measurements were effectuated in order to calibrate the micro and nanoelectrode arrays for pollution control. By both anodic stripping voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry, heavy metals, like Cd2+ and Pb2+, in 0.1 M hydrochloric acid as supporting electrolyte were determined, and the ferric ions, Fe3+, in 0.1 M hydrochloric acid as supporting electrolyte were determined by cyclic voltammetry. The nanoelectrode arrays were more sensitive than the microelectrode ones. A good linearity of the calibration curves were obtained in both micro and nano-array test structures used as working electrodes.
