Abstract :
This paper proposes a new waveform sensitivity analysis method based on differential quadrature method (DQM). The sensitivity analysis of interconnect lines derives from the multi-conductor transmission line model in time domain. With the proposed method, sensitivity of response waveform at the node of interest is calculated. Due to the information at global grid points, the DQM usually requires far fewer sampling points than other numerical methods, and can reach high accuracy. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed sensitivity analysis method.
