Abstract :
Future spacecraft are envisioned as autonomous, miniature, intelligent and massively distributed space mechatronic systems. To improve the applicability of such small satellites for complex space missions, a virtual structure is proposed. This paper presents a novel study on a fractional satellite attitude decision and control system using one-bit processing, which could result in a highly efficient approach for virtual satellite designs in terms of communication, control and computation.
