Abstract :
A new kind of planar power divider is proposed. The power divider incorporates microstrip-slotline transitions and annular slotline to realize high isolation. Utilize HFSS of Agilent Technologies to simulate, more than 23db isolation is achieved between the two output ports in a frequency range from 92 to 96 GHz, return loss is more than 23dB. Little insertion loss, high degree of phase and amplitude balance are achieved. The experimental results shows that the isolation between the two output ports is better than 18dB, the insertion loss is less than 1 dB. Moreover, a improved structure is proposed in order to improve the return loss and insertion loss.
