Abstract
Continuous Petri nets are used to model discrete event systems in which the number of parts increases more and more. But these different continuous models don´t take fluctuations of the systems incomings and of the demand into account. Therefore, this paper presents an extension of the first continuous Petri net model, the continuous Petri net with maximal speeds depending on time. The special case where speeds are piecewise constant is studied. After formal definitions, a special attention is paid to the evolution algorithm. Finally, this Petri net model is illustrated by an example
