Abstract
Walking out of the house on cold and wet winter morning to catch the bus knowing with confidence that arrival is imminent would be a dream for many users of public transport. With one look at the mobile phone not only it is possible to see the exact time of arrival at a user´s stop but also the next departure from the central terminal and its estimated time of arrival. In this paper we present a public information system that can provide up to date and comprehensive information on metrobus services through a variety of means to the user´s mobile phone.
