Abstract
Current flow calculation results along the elements of a complex power system are analyzed in this work, during a three-phase short-circuit taking into account relative rotor swing. Analysis is implemented on the examples when the infinite bus fault point is supplied by one or more generators. It is shown that generator swing neglected during short-circuits, essentially changing current distribution in the system, can lead to impermissible mistakes in calculation results.
