Abstract :
For partial discharge (PD) processes of electrical insulation internal defaults ignition and their parameters measurement, different electrical models were developed. These models present the combination of electrical insulation and its defaults. All these models use the "a-b-c" diagram. Using these kind of equivalent diagrams, the paper presents the methods of apparent charge (q) and PD energy evaluation. The elaborated diagrams are used for apparent charge, electrical insulation, geometrical parameters and fault dimension dependency analysis. The obtained experimental results give very important information for the electrical insulation producer and also for the users.
