Abstract :
Distance education that transmits information on the global Internet has become the trend of educational development in the coming years; however, it still has some drawbacks and shortcomings. This article focuses on how to apply Multi-Agent technology in distance learning systems. The systems are supposed to teach students individualized according to their personality characteristics and cognitive abilities by establishing Student Agent and Teacher Agent, thus, to improve the intelligence and personalization of distance education system, in order to fully tap the potential of learners and improve teaching effectiveness and learning efficiency.
