Integrated change and release management towards autonomic computing

The study on service management is of great research interest as a result of the rapid growth of the service-based economics in recent years. Relevant investigations work to find the optimal strategies of information technology (IT) management, and related IT service standards has been published, such as the information technology infrastructure library (ITIL). In this paper, we focus on integration of change and release management. By drawing a flow chart of integrated change and release management, our paper serves to outline the framework of the integration of the change and release management. It also offers some insights into the implementation of the integration towards autonomic computing.
