Abstract :
Boom luffing winch platform is located in empennage of SL6 ship loader at HUANGHUA PORT. To inhibit severe vibration of the boom luffing winch platform during boom luffing of ship loader elevating and descending at high speed, in this article, ANSYS software is used to complete modal analysis and harmonic response analysis for boom luffing winch platform. The results indicate that the location of winch in the middle of the platform occurred vertical vibration under the 17.76 Hz natural frequency which approached closely the high speed meshing frequency of winch gears. By considering the practical situation, the vibration reduction project is proposed and executed. By comparing the harmonic response analysis results of boom luffing winch platform and the reconstructed platform under the identical conditions, it shows that the maximum response displacement in end of platform is reduced 37.2 percent during low speed, and 77.86 percent during high speed.
