Abstract :
We consider a dual-hop relay communication system with channel state information (CSI)-assisted amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying protocol. Assuming that the system operates in the presence of Nakagami-m fading, novel closed-form expressions for the exact average bit error rate (ABER) of BPSK signals and the ergodic capacity are derived. The proposed analysis is accompanied by numerical results, clearly demonstrating the usefulness of the theoretical approach.
