Research and exploration on teaching reform of computer basic courses in university of chinese medicine

In order to cultivate high-quality students with computer knowledge who major in Chinese Medicine, a systematic reform for computer basic courses in university of Chinese Medicine is imperative. This paper first analyzes the current situation of computer basic courses in Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, and then presents the whole reform programs including the curriculum arrangement, teacher team construction, teaching methods and assessment. The authors propose an idea that the reform should combine computer courses and Chinese Medicine disciplines firmly, and make computer technology become efficient tools for graduates of university of Chinese Medicine in their future work. The final results indicate the reform is adaptive and effective.
