Abstract :
MB-OFDM UWB communication technology use orthogonal UWB pulse sequence and multiple subchannels to achieve reliable high data rate transmission and spectral efficiency. The structure of the MB-OFDM UWB simulation system is discussed in this paper. The fixed-point simulation platform is also developed by Simulink® which constructed according to MB-OFDM scheme proposed by Multiband OFDM Alliance and the compensation scheme is based on phase compensation. The simulation performance between fixed-point and float-point reference is also studied, concentrated on study the degradation of the receiver and Viterbi decoder due to the finite word length implementation.
