Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among lifestyle, leisure motivation and leisure interests of a sample of college students in Tainan County in Taiwan. In addition, the study also determined whether there are differences in life style, leisure motivation and leisure interest based on the of gender, age, attending years in school, money domination in leisure, lodging situation, average of academic achievement and place of dwelling. One thousand survey instruments were distributed, and 852 effective instruments were returned, for an effective rate of 85.2%. The collected data were analyzed statistically. The findings of this research were as follows: 1. There are significant differences in students´ lifestyle and leisure motivation based on the students´ place of dwelling. 2. There are significant differences in students´ leisure interests based on the age and attending years in school. 3. There is significantly correlated between students´ lifestyle and leisure motivation.
