  • Abstract
TCP/IP is the standard networking protocol on the Internet and is the most widely used. Ad-hoc networks are prone to link failures due to mobility, and TCP is unable to distinguish between losses due to route failure and losses due to congestion. So the throughput degrades significantly because nodes move. This paper analyze the performance of TCP over DSR and SSA in mobile ad-hoc networks, and propose a modification DSR route protocol based on signal stability strength to improve TCP performance. It is very useful for use TCP in mobile ad-doc networks better.
