Abstract
In this paper we present a method to linearize the group delay response of a type I Coupled Resonator Optical Waveguide (CROW) structure. The method can be used for the design of low ripple chromatic dispersion compensators on pass-band CROW. Different chirping procedures have been studied, similar to the ones employed in Fiber Bragg grating devices, and several apodization functions, to reduce the ripple in the pass band have bee analyzed.
