Abstract :
We report the data concerning the optically pumped laser generation in the ZnO microprisms at room temperature. The ZnO microprisms were grown on the single crystal (100) silicon substrates by a solid-vapor-phase process. Laser effect was observed when the optically pump power was higher than 685 kW cm-2 at room temperature.
