Abstract :
In this paper we describe our experiments with mode-locked fiber lasers. Amplified output pulses are used for supercontinuum (SC) generation in non-zero dispersion shifted fiber (NZ DSF). We show that wide output supercontinuum could be generated in standard telecommunication fiber using laser that is passively mode-locked by nonlinear polarization rotation.
