Abstract :
The earth-fault protection of VLTreg AutomationDrive FC 301 is based on a single current transducer in the high-side DC-link and desaturation protection of the low-side switching elements. Used together with a novel software algorithm this makes the AC-drive earth-fault proof in any operating point.
