Abstract
A new full-energy injector for the storage ring of the elettra synchrotron light laboratory is under construction. high precision and reproducibility power converters will be used to supply its magnets. Key features are modular design comprising N+1 redundancy and energy recovery capabilities. At the time of the presentation of this article, the power converters are in the final factory test phase and therefore only preliminary results on dummy loads will be reported.
