  • Abstract
    Transmit beamforming is a simple multi-antenna technique for increasing capacity of a wireless communication system. Different approaches for quantizing the channel state information (CSI) have been proposed in the literature also called limited feedback. In the conventional ”per-user feedback” approaches, all users feedback their CSI or the users are selected using predefined thresholds in order to minimize the number of users that feedback. Furthermore, another approach is proposed named ”a total feedback” when the number of feedback bits is variable and the number of users is chosen randomly from a large number of users. In this work, we establish a new approach that control feedback access and give an equal chance to all users to feedback access. Furthermore, the most goal is respecting the constraints of feedback channel. We apply this control feedback access with a per user feedback and with a total feedback in the opportunistic beamforming technique. Finally, simulations show that the control feedback access increases throughput of the conventional approaches and give a good performance.
