Abstract
The authors propose the replacement of the isotropic dielectric of an NRD (nonradiative electric) waveguide by a longitudinally magnetized ferrite, allowing the implementation of NRD nonreciprocal devices and electronically tuned NRD devices. The propagation of electromagnetic waves in such an anisotropic NRD waveguide has been investigated. Numerical results for the dispersion of the first few propagation modes in this structure are presented.<>
