Abstract :
Topographical cues, independent of biochemistry, generated by the PDMS substrate may have significant effects on cellular behavior. Mouse bone marrow stromal fibroblasts were examined on grooved substrata of equal groove and ridge width (30 /spl mu/m depth). It was found that the topographical surface had an effect in determining cell alignment and migration.
