  • Abstract
    The present paper focuses on a view selection method exploiting a central construct called Multi View Materialization Graph (MVMG) which provides a framework to support materialized, virtual and hybrid fragments of views. Furthermore, our approach is dynamic, i.e. materialized fragments can become virtual and vice versa. In the same way, attributes may change their status according to their update and their query frequencies. Finally, our approach can be applied in both data warehouse and mediator systems
