Abstract :
A vector quantization processor suitable for video communication has been developed. It performs 10 frames/sec of encoding and decoding QCIF with the FRMSHVQ algorithm. It consumes 49 mW at 25 MHz. The chip is fabricated in a 0.35 μm CMOS technology
