Abstract
Architecture performance evaluation is a key part in system design. It can be seen as the backbone of architecture analysis and design space exploration. In this paper we present a comparison of system modeling and cycle true simulation. Our work is based on the evaluation of a system model of a design example from the agricultural domain next to the results of an instruction set simulation
