Abstract :
In the paper the analysis of the self-tuning vector controlled induction motor drive with a novel MRAS-type rotor speed and flux estimator is presented. The PI speed controller adjustment in the direct field oriented control structure is shown, basing on the analysis of the MRAS estimator stability analysis. Parameters of the PI speed controller are changed in the function of the rotor speed. Sensitivity of the sensorless IM drive with the MRASCC estimator is analyzed and is compared with system with full order observer (NFOA) and classical MRASF estimator. Dynamical performances of the vector control system with the current-type MRASCC estimator and self-tuning speed controller are tested in the laboratory set-up.
