Abstract :
Post operative adjuvant chemotherapy of operable breast cancer has rapidly expanded in the past quarter of century. At present adjuvant chemotherapy administration is widely used in clinical practice even by physicians who are not involved full-time in cancer patient care. A decision support system is presented for post operative adjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer. The system has been implemented in Visual Basic 4, under both Windows 3.x and Windows 95. At present the system relates to breast cancer only, but it is intended to be extended to other kinds of cancer for which chemotherapy is advisable
