Abstract :
History and development of one the oldest technical museums in the world are presented in this paper. The complex technological modernization provides a challenge for the social and culture role in the world museum society as well as the additional possibilities for the new life of outstanding input of the Russian science and inventions into the technical progress of the world communication society.
