Abstract
Vector field control of Doubly Fed Induction Generators enables to generate/absorb reactive power. These machines are more and more used in wind farms. Their reactive power generation capabilities are related to their operating points. This paper presents a centralized supervision of the reactive power control for a wind farm. A weighting distribution strategy has been used in order to determine the reactive power reference for each wind generator.
