Abstract :
This paper designs and realizes a content-based medical image retrieval (CBMIR) system on mammograms. The main functions of the system which include query module, feature extraction module, matching module, display module are also introduced. The system adopts Euclidean distance as similarity measurement of image, uses the gray level cooccurrence matrix (GLCM) for extracting texture feature. The averages of precision are 58% by the experiment.
