Abstract :
Recent growth of the ratio of electric power among all energy sources originates from the superior characteristics of electricity. The contributions of power electronics in electric power systems are observed here. They are to keep power systems stable, to produce electric power from renewable energy sources and to save energy consumption. This paper contains a description of future prospects of electrical energy sources along with current trends of high-power electronics technology
