Abstract :
In this paper, a sub-1V low power CMOS injection-locked frequency divider is presented. The divide-by-2 frequency divider is fabricated using standard 0.18-iquestm CMOS technology. By utilizing a NMOS cross-coupled pair with a capacitive feedback in the oscillator core, the ultra-low voltage operation and a reasonable locking range is achieved at K-band. The measurement results show that at the incident power of 3-dBm the locking range is about 1.8 GHz, from the incident frequency 20.8 to 22.6 GHz, with a power consumption of 0.39 mW (excluding output buffers) in the 0.65 V supply-voltage.
