  • Abstract
Development of electromagnetic design methods for the radiating devices located in multilayered dielectric structures (MDS), such as microstrip lamellar antennas, printed Yagi antennas, log-periodic dipole antennas, etc., presents an everlasting interest in the modern microwave and millimeter-wave techniques. The paper presents the derivation of the electromagnetic methods for calculating the electric features of a dipole radiator, which is placed in MDS (a basic element of a Yagi antenna). The Feld-Zackson-Vainshtein (1948, 1949, 1988) theory of waveguide excitation is adopted as a basis of the dyadic Green´s function derivation
