Abstract :
The paper describes a generalization of the thin wire antenna integral equation for a curved strip dipole antenna on a stratified substrate. On the basis of the equivalent parameters method the equivalence of the models of a strip dipole antenna on plane layers and an insulated tubular antenna in an axially symmetric stratified medium is demonstrated. The approximation of transmission line theory results in formulas for the characteristic impedance of the strip dipole antenna on the stratified substrate and reveals the sinusoidal character of the current distribution function. The examined structure dispersion equation is also derived and solved
