Abstract :
The major features of a software reliability and maintainability (R&M) tool known as Micro Omnivore are described. The original Omnivore system was developed for mainframe computers. Major enhancements to Omnivore have been implemented, including the conversion to a microcomputer environment. Since US Air Force weapons systems and data collection systems often contain similar maintenance data elements, but in different formats, Omnivore was developed to process the data from any of these systems so that data could be available in a common database and therefore subject to a standard set of reliability and maintainability analysis reports
