Abstract :
An overview is given of the following integrated electronic design/analysis software tools used to optimize the quality of developed electronic military hardware: (1) Relgraph for design requirements flowdown and mission reliability modeling; (2) Valid/Allegro for electronic schematic capture, simulation, and printed circuit board (PCB) layout; (3) Engineering Parts Database (EPDB), a design database of program approved components; (4) Sinda, a finite-difference analyzer used for PCB thermal analysis; (5) Reliability Effectiveness Analysis Program (REAP) for reliability predictions of PCBs; and (6) CALCE for stress/fatigue analysis, vibration analysis, and PCB life prediction
