  • Abstract
This paper presents a new computational framework for vague patterns and symbols. The new framework is used for acquiring concepts and inferring the meanings of such patterns and symbols. A three-layer neural network for implementing the new framework is proposed in this paper. Simulations using similar/different patterns are carried out in order to show the unique features of the proposed network
