  • Abstract
    The design of a DSP based simulation and testing software system which serves the embedded software simulation and testing platform is proposed. The software is cross-platform compatible and can be extended easily because of its independent module design and command-line based communication between the core virtual machine and the accessorial software module. The core simdsp55x is an interpretive and execution driven virtual machine constructed with the Simple Scalar toolset, and the internal structure of the virtual machine and logical relationship between each module are studied.
