  • Abstract
    WirelessHART is a new protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). In most usage scenarious, such a WSN has to be integrated into existing wired infrastructures to build an automation process. Based on the examples PROFIBUS and PROFINET, this paper presents some design decisions needed for this integration and their advantages and disadvantages.
