Abstract :
Possibility of bandwidth-limited slow light in superstructure fiber gratings is analyzed numerically, and the transmission spectra and the group delay spectra are given. Intensity modulated Gauss pulse with FWHM of 1.5 ns can be delayed about 1.2 ns in superstructure fiber grating with modest pulse distortion.
