Abstract
This paper presents new results of quadratic stability and stabilization of fuzzy control systems. Robust stability conditions such as quadratic stabilization, H∞ control theory and Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) are employed to derive new stability conditions for a generalized class of uncertain systems. Furthermore, we derive conditions of quadratic stability and stabilization of fuzzy control systems from the new stability conditions. Some important issues for the stability analysis are remarked
