Abstract :
This paper presents a new dual frequency bands serial feeding coaxial collinear (COCO) antenna array. The basic radiation mechanism of the new type antenna array is described. The gain and directivity of dual frequency bands change with the number of the radiation sections. The end adjusting section is used to improve the bandwidth. A 7 sections antenna array was designed for 900 MHz and 1800 MHz. It has better omni-directivity in the horizontal plane and gets -0.14 dB gain at 900 MHz and 2.24 dB gain at 1800 MHz.
