Abstract
A constant permittivity dielectric spherical lens multi-beam antenna working at millimeter wavelengths is designed in this paper. We make use of the axial symmetry of the antenna to reduce the time-consuming of direct analyzing the electrically large scale lens. The simulation analysis of the structure of the single-feed antenna has conducted by optimizing the parameters of the antenna to get the optimal structural parameters. So the structural parameters of the antenna with multi-feed are computed based on analogously manipulating the foregoing design. The simulation results obtained by optimizing the parameters according to the design demonstrate that the radiation patterns meet the basic requirement of multi-beam antennas.
