  • Abstract
    Timing jitter has become a major issue in recent years, affecting a broad range of industries doing highspeed digital design. This is part of a series of papers addressing timing jitter analysis education in the Electrical Engineering and Engineering Technology curricula. The subject of this edition is teaching jitter at a level of detail appropriate for a sophomore EET student. A third semester digital class, such as one introducing microprocessors, could discuss deterministic jitter and jitter measurements in more detail and cover several types of jitter displays.
